Doggie Love

Who loves dogs? I know I do, I love all kinds of dogs. When I was a little girl I had a dog that was a Yorkie. His name was Pomee and he was the cutest dog in the world. I had Pomee for many years and loved him very much. Unfortunately, I had to give Pomee away because I was moving and didn't have time to care for him. Two Christmases ago, my family and I got another dog. This time we got a male Morkie. A Morkie is the mix breed of a Yorkie and a Maltese. We named our new dog Panther.

Panther is a very playful and active dog. He loves people and is also very friendly. When Panther first came into our lives, he was a bit shy. That all changed once he got to know my family and I more. We spent our first Christmas together back in 2014. Soon it will be our third Christmas spending it together with our family dog.  

As panther grew, I tried teaching him a few tricks. At this time, the only thing he knew how to do was to give me a high five. It was the cutest thing in the world and I was so proud of him for being able to understand. I still wish till this day Panther would be as small as he used to be.

Over the years my dog has grown so much. He is very loved by my family and I. Panther is very spoiled and always gets the best. He is definitely staying with us forever. I wouldn't trade my dog for the world!

Cali Love

As some of you may know, I love to travel. Traveling is my favorite hobby! Throughout my 23 years of life, I have been blessed to be able to travel to so many places around the world. One of my favorite places that I've traveled to in the United States, is California. Everything about California is amazing. With California's palm trees, weather, beaches, and more, it couldn't get any better.

The food in California is incredible. The first stop I usually make in Cali is at the In-N-Out Burger. I love the double burger and the fries. I wish there was an In-N-Out Burger here in Michigan. If there were, I'd get food from there every single day!

My favorite attraction to go to in California is Disney Land. Whenever I go to Disney Land, I still feel like a kid at heart. I first went to this magical attraction when I was 10 years old. Ever since then, I loved it and would always go back whenever I had the chance. I love everything Disney Land has to offer. It's an amazing theme park, I hope to take my children there one day! 

I love to eat and I especially love going out to eat. Another favorite restaurant of mine is the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.  The seafood that this restaurant serves is delicious. My favorite dish to get is always the shrimp and fries. It taste amazingly mouth watering! I love coming to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. whenever I'm in California, it's also a go to stop for me.

There are so many wonderful places and attractions in California. Disney Land is my all time favorite attraction and will always be. In-N-Out Burger and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. will always be my favorite restaurants in California as well. I can't wait until the day I return to the golden state. There are so many new restaurants and places that I would love to try and explore.

Travels with Katrina

Since I was in middle school, it has always been a dream of mine to travel to Europe. In particular, it has always been my life long goal and dream to travel to Paris, France. When I was in the eighth grade I took an exploratory language class. Out of all the languages I studied, French was my favorite. Throughout high school I continued to take French. I took French I, II, III, and IV. I wanted to learn as much as I could; in hope that one day I would travel to France.   

As many years past, my dream to go to France still hadn’t come true. Finally on June 16, 2016 I flew to Paris, France. I was the happiest girl in the world and couldn’t believe that my dream had finally come true.

In France I visited many cities and monumental structures. The first place I visited was called the Chateau de Versailles. This was the castle where King Louis and Marie Antoinette lived. It was a beautiful and enormous palace on the inside and outside.

Next, I visited a museum called the Louvre. My favorite artwork in the whole museum was the Mona Lisa. This was the closest one could get to the most famous painting in the world. 

Lastly, I went to see the Eiffel Tower. During my whole trip to France, I was most excited to see Le Tour Eiffel. I got the opportunity to also tour the tower. It was amazing to go up the elevators on the Eiffel Tower to see the whole city of Paris from above. The view was breathtaking and one to always remember.     

My trip to France was a dream come true.  I still can't believe I travelled all the way to Europe. I loved everything about France and can't wait until the day I return. I'll be dreaming everyday until my wish comes true again.
